Tell Congress: Repeal the Jones Act! American families are paying more for groceries, fuel, and everyday essentials, and a 100-year-old shipping law is one of the reasons. Support President Trump by sending your letter and urge your lawmakers to support permanently repealing the Jones Act!
Good point from WV Senate Leadership consultant John Findlay today. The vast majority of senate candidates endorsed by @WVaChamber lost their primary race. “You were better off NOT being endorsed by the chamber.”
Instead of owning their failure to defeat conservative incumbent senators, the chamber is doubling down by attacking conservative grassroots activists.
It’s high time the business community asked the democrat operatives running the state chamber some tough questions.
Despite attacks on the Hope Scholarship program, we saw principled lawmakers who want to continue to lead the nation in education freedom. To them we say thank you!
Pretty wild to see the @WVaChamber, who failed to even engage in state judicial races, try to ham-handedly deflect blame onto the @WVGOP.
Instead of owning their mistakes, the increasingly out-of-touch chamber would rather keep up their wrongheaded, impotent attack on conservatives.
West Virginia businesses deserve better than feeble excuses and scapegoats.
Competition is good for policy and politics. And @AFPWV is here to COMPETE!
We will always have the backs of principled policy champions who lead from the front toward making West Virginia a better place to live, work, & raise a family.
And we will continue to ensure politicians who fail on first principles do not go uncontested at the ballot box.
Factions within the Republican Party appealed to the voters and they have spoken. With the primary election sparring over, it is time to come together and govern. That's what West Virginians expect of their elected officials.
As always, @AFPWV and our activists across the state stand ready to work with principled policymakers to rapidly meet the mandate from West Virginians by enacting bold, conservative reforms.
While bureaucrats process paperwork, West Virginians are waiting for care. CON laws force providers to get government permission before they can expand services or open new facilities—a process that can drag on for months or even years. Patients deserve better.
“We are repurposing government. We’re trying to make it more effective and more efficient so that we can deliver the services that people expect, and we’re going to keep going.” Thankful for @MorriseyWV’s leadership. Taxpayers deserve efficiency with their hard earned dollars!
