Agreed, I made this point in a very powerful session "rethinking behaviour" session at #RethinkingEd23 session with @KatStern4 and @AdeleBatesZ yesterday. The idea that relational = a soft touch needs to be dispelled.

Great day at out at the #RethinkingEd23 conference today! I highly recommend!!! An amazing array of speakers too many to choose from but everyone we saw where well worth listening too. Been up since 5am and my brains frazzled but it was well worth it. 😃🙌
Thanks to @Lucia__Quadrini for raising the problems of academic selection at the @Rethinking_Ed conference. Putting an end to the 11-plus is so important! We need policies in place to phase out the outdated selective system. #RethinkingEd23
