#rexonhex sure does know how to monitor his patients! Accurate resp rate measurement can help detect deterioration early which = early escalation & early treatment leading to better outcomes for the patient. #AtoE #patientsafety #1bigteam @DerrifordNurses

Day 20- Saturations are an important observation we measure. Wearing nail polish especially red or acrylic nails can really affect this giving inaccurate traces. Its important either remove the polish or to use ear probes for accurate measurements. #rexonhex #respcare

#rexonhex came for mask fit testing last night. We didn’t have a mask to fit his face. He will be staying safe away from red areas and aerosol generating procedures such as open vent circuits and nebs #maskfit #respcare #respeducation #hexhoney @sarahontarquil1 @UHP_NHS

Day 3 #rexonhex - We dont use bleach or aeresol’s on Hex. Its a HUGE trigger for patients with resp problems, causing irritation and bronchoconstriction which can be potentially life threatening. @sarahontarquil1 @Abi_Owen95
