Robin Garbutt was convicted of murdering his wife Diana. There was no direct evidence against him but plenty of dubious evidence used to convict him. Here are a few brief facts. The forensic evidence used against him has been thoroughly debunked and much of it has even been accepted as such by the CCRC. The murder weapon had three sets of DNA on it. Diana, the murder victim, a police officer's and an unidentified person's. Robin Garbutt's DNA was not on the murder weapon. The murder weapon was not found until two days after the murder. It was on a wall nearby but was not there on the day of the murder making it impossible for Robin Garbutt to have put it there as he has a solid alibi for that period of time. There was a clump of hair on the pillow at the murder scene. It did not match either Diana's or Robin's. Is it possible or even probable it belonged to whoever killed Diana? The clump of hair was "lost" so never tested for DNA. A BB gun and balaclava was found a few miles from the murder scene but police never bothered to investigate. MPs are the law makers. When someone has been failed as badly as Lucy Letby has, where are the MPs who should be examining where it has all broken down? How and why can it only appear to be David Davis who cares about this deeply pressing matter? MPs should be there to protect the rights of the citizens in this country. It would appear that where anything might resemble a "hot potato", they don't want any involvement. MPs are meant to be there for the good of the country, not for themselves.
