How about doing something about completely innocent UK citizens being left to rot in prison long after it's obvious they were wrongly convicted?
Innocent people such as #LucyLetby #JeremyBamber #RobinGarbutt #CliveFreeman #OmarBenguit and many many more.
The judiciary needs total reform before you do anything else.
Prove you're different than all the rest. Legislate for a justice system that's fit for purpose.

#CliveFreeman is innocent
👇
Clive Freeman, now in his 80s and battling terminal prostate cancer, has spent over 37 years in prison for a murder he not only did not commit but for a murder that never even happened. He is completely innocent.
Convicted in 1989 of killing Alexander Hardie, Freeman has always maintained that Hardie died of natural causes related to his heavy drinking and poor health. There was no murder and no crime took place.
His case was rejected five times by the Criminal Cases Review Commission before the sixth application was finally referred to the Court of Appeal in August 2025. He has now had an initial hearing, but he is still waiting for the full appeal to be heard.
This delay is a disgrace and further highlights how unfit for purpose the UK justice system is, particularly the appeals process.
The prosecution’s controversial “burking” theory has been thoroughly debunked by multiple independent expert pathologists, including Dr Steven Karch, one of the world’s leading authorities on deaths in custody. They have concluded that Hardie’s death was consistent with natural causes, not murder.
Clive could have been released decades ago, but the Parole Board often refuses to release prisoners who maintain their innocence. They effectively punish the wrongly convicted for being honest. How abhorrent is that?

What a ridiculous comment.
I am campaigning for several clearly innocent people including #CliveFreeman #JeremyBamber #RobinGarbutt #OmarBenguit
All men, none of them white females.
The other image is Leroy Douglas, a black man who has spent over 20 years in prison for stealing a mobile phone. He is not factually innocent like the others, but it is still a gross miscarriage of justice.
The gender or skin colour of a person shouldn’t matter to anyone. So why does it matter so much to you?

With Clive Freeman's appeal hearing today, I thought I would repost this. Please share.
Good luck Clive.

Don't get me wrong. I'm grateful for all the support Lucy Letby is getting in highlighting her horrendous and utterly shameful wrongful conviction.
But, at the same time, it annoys me that some high profile people give the impression hers is the worst ever miscarriage of justice in UK history.
As horrendous as Lucy's is, it is by no means the worst. Not by a long long way. As unbelievable as that sounds.
There have been so many over the years. Some were eventually exonerated, albeit only after spending years or even decades rotting away in a cell as completely innocent people. But many are still inside.
One such person is Clive Freeman.
Lucy Letby has so far spent over 5 years in prison for murdering and attempting to murder babies that were neither murdered nor deliberately harmed.
Clive Freeman has so far spent over 37 years in prison for murdering a man that wasn't murdered.
He finally succeeded in getting the @ccrcupdate to refer his case to the Court of Appeal at the 6th attempt.
That was last August and although now in his 80's and dying of terminal cancer he has still not been given a date for his appeal.
How horrific is that?
So come on. All those with influence speak out. Help get that innocent man exonerated and released immediately so he can die in peace at home with some dignity.
Then campaign for major change in the entire UK judiciary. In particular the totally unfit for purpose appeals system.

How about quashing convictions of undeniably innocent people?
#LucyLetby #JeremyBamber #RobinGarbutt #RogerKearney #CliveFreeman #SusanMay #OmarBenguit
Or at least scrapping the not fit for purpose CCRC and putting a truly independent and well funded appeals system in place?
#WronglyConvicted #FreeTheInnocent

Or these equally innocent people and many more besides?

Most people only ever get to hear about the few high profile miscarriages of justice that hit the headlines such as #AndrewMalkinson #BirminghamSix #StefanKiszko and the ongoing appeals from other clearly innocent people such as #LucyLetby #JeremyBamber #RobinGarbutt but there are a multitude of others that get very little publicity.
One such case is that of Clive Freeman. In his 80's and dying of terminal cancer he finally had his case referred to the court of appeal last August at the sixth attempt but shamefully he is still waiting for an appeal date.
Anyone who thinks the UK justice system is in any way fit for purpose needs to research this case and they will certainly think again.
Start by listening to Clive tell a little about his suffering in the clip below, speaking a couple of years ago. Full video here.

Free #LucyLetby #JeremyBamber #RobinGarbutt #RogerKearney #CliveFreeman and many many more who have been wrongly convicted.
The UK's criminal appeals system is in no way fit for purpose and is why a multitude of people wrongly convicted are left to rot in jail for years and often decades despite it being obvious they are clearly innocent.
That is my honest opinion based on comprehensive research but just in case anyone disagrees with my informed opinion, I asked Grok to see if it would back me up

There are estimated to be almost 25,000 innocent people currently in prison in the UK including those held on remand. Doesn't it warm the heart knowing we live in such a civilised society?

Thinking of all the wrongly convicted at this time, and always. #LucyLetby #JeremyBamber #CliveFreeman #RogerKearney #RobinGarbutt and many many more.
Many are now off work until after the New Year. Wonder how many are raising a glass to those who are unable to prop a bar up due to being stuck in prison for a crime that never happened?

Could you please raise this scandal in Parliament @DavidDavisMP ? It is not just innocent #LucyLetby that needs your help. There are many more clearly innocent people locked up including #RobinGarbutt #RogerKearney #CliveFreeman to name but three of a multitude. Change needs to happen. The current situation shames the UK.

Birmingham 6 in prison for 16 years while Police knew +establishment connived. CCRC was the result: a re-branding of the hostile environment for innocents, which continues.

And what about reforms to bring swifter justice to the many victims of horrendous miscarriages of justice? Victims like #JeremyBamber #LucyLetby #RogerKearney #RobinGarbutt and the utterly shameful case of #CliveFreeman
Do you know about that case? He finally got the CCRC to refer his case to the court of appeal at the 6th attempt back in August but is still rotting away in prison dying of cancer at the age of 82 waiting on his appeal date. Is @DavidLammy delivering swift justice for him in your opinion?
@EmpowerInnocent @DavidDavisMP
We’re backing victims.
