I've been taking a break from my fantasy series #RowanLegacy to read some Doctor Who novels and fanfic.
Now I want to write a Doctor Who/Rowan crossover.
Why, why must I do this instead of editing & querying?
#ExecutiveDysfunction and #ADHD, that's why.

@CynicalTuba My favorite in my #RowanLegacy isn't the adorable & outgoing 18yo Fae changeling girl who's loosely based on Anne Shirley. It's her 12,000 year old friend, who's based on Shakespeare's Puck. He's a trickster, a charmer, a flirt, and a staunchly loyal & loving friend.
“A skillet? That’s what killed him?”
“I didn’t know it would kill him, I swear. Knock him out, yes, but I would never kill someone on purpose. I'm so sorry!" she wailed.
“I know,” Melrick spoke softly. “You’re forgiven, my friend. Still. Again. #Forever."

"Your son finished his education before he's 50?" Lord Bonham asked. "He must be very #bright or you've pushed him very hard. Or both?"
"Both," Windrook replied. "Neither of us was willing to wait another 30 years before he could come out Trading with me."

I borrowed this idea for #RowanLegacy, when Rae tries to convince her human relatives that she's a fairy changeling, but she had 5 options. Either: 1)she was crazy; 2) her relatives were crazy; 3) She was lying; 4) she was playing a joke on them, or 5) she was telling the truth.
The Trilemma! Or, Lucy’s problem—either there is a magical land in the wardrobe, Lucy’s crazy, or a liar. Either Jesus is who He says, a liar, or a madman. I love the elegance of the Trilemma, but I do think it is kind of a simplistic. What do you think? #CSLewisBookClub
"I thought Seelie Fae weren't supposed to mention #hell," Melrick asked his uncle.
"We who remember the ogre attack on Silverbirch have lived it," Sheridan replied. "Can you think of a worse damnation than seeing your loved ones be ripped apart and eaten?" #vss365

@chipmunkofpower I didn't title half the books in my #RowanLegacy series. I consulted @Sprachel and she came up with better titles than I could have done.
@FernMajestic @DiedraDrake Maybe, but only if I could be Fae. Not just any Fae, but the kind I created in my #RowanLegacy series. Extended lifespan, magic, & I'd be a great singer & dancer. 😊
I had been concerned that my #RowanLegacy fantasy series didn't pass the Fries test cuz I have a character who's disabled in the human world but abled in the Fae realm. My husband, who is blind and autistic, pointed out that it's a perfect representation of the social model.😊👍
Just had the BEST idea for another prequel short story in my #RowanLegacy universe, and it ties up a loose end, and explains a few things that I hadn't had an explanation for.
#WritingCommunity, you all know exactly how I feel!
(@Sprachel it's gonna make you wet yourself, LOL)
Cara is an artist and writer who does character art. She made me a beautiful fanart of two of my #RowanLegacy characters, and here's one of Nash from her own WIP. Wanna see what your characters look like? Hire her!
Just finished coloring one of my OC's, Nash 😘 he looks so pissed lol

@Marie_Lipscomb_ I've had fanart! Both @cara_harbin and @Sprachel have done fanart for my #RowanLegacy series, and it's not even published yet!
And it was so beautiful i nearly DID cry. 😁🤗😍😌😭
@EmaLaineAuthor In my #RowanLegacy, it would have to be my fairy changeling, Rae Rowan. She's like a cross between Anne of Green Gables and Evelyn the librarian in The Mummy: a wild thirst for knowledge, sweet personality, takes no crap, and has little self-preservation when protecting someone.
Just realized that the antagonist in my #RowanLegacy series is a different person from the villain... Who is also a victim of the REAL villain.
Wheels within wheels.

I won't tag, but anyone who wants to can play and I wanna see all the responses!
@cara_harbin Wonderful! There's my handsome Nash. And of course you already know how much I adore my Melina and Windrook from #RowanLegacy!

Currently #amwriting a #RowanLegacy short story, 30 pages or less. For someone whose trilogy turned into a series, this is HARD! Harder still is that it's a daring adventure by my favorite, most lovable character in the series... and he gets caught, beaten, & tortured. I caaaant!
Rae's eyes widened when she recognized him. "It's you!" she squeaked in surprise.
Melrick looked the same as the last time she'd seen him, except that his #hair had been cropped short and stuck up in a sexy tousle of black. He smiled.
"Yeah, it's me. Hi!"

Windrook chose not to tell Melrick that Reiker's dragon had eaten the #horse. It would break his heart.
Melrick wished they had bred a foal from Windrook's mare before he'd sold her. He hoped her new owner appreciated how sweet-natured and beautiful she was.

Nice!” Devi said, standing back to get a good look. “It makes you look like you have boobs! Your last swimsuit made you look like a preschooler. Come on, give us a twirl, girl.”
Rae spun in a series of exaggeratedly sexy #poses that got them both giggling.
