The banned #TTP claimed responsibility. Locals said militants used heavy weapons to attack the police station in Mir Bagh area in central Kurram. Police returned fire that led to exchange of gunfire. Police station incharge Shabir Ahmad is among the injured. A civilian Hekmat Shah was killed in the attack.
