Shameful the messengers of the #SBC did not pass the #sbcamendment in 24.
I found a church on the SBC jobs board and noticed the pastor can be he/she. In brotherly Christian love I confronted them...
and that's the reply
The BFM 2000 is what the Law group sees as their “gold standard”, but they’ve left out the parts they don’t like. #voteno #sbcamendment
@BaptistPress The same former seminary president who’s Paige Patterson’s brother-in-law? I’m sure he’d love to go backward and continue the coverup, but we’re not having it. Vote no on the #sbcamendment.
This is so good! If you find someone trying to complicate issues on which the Word of God has always been clearly understood, then those teachers are mishandling the Word of Truth for political or financial expediency. #sbcamendment
@albertmohler You’re desperately hiding, Al, but the dominoes are just starting to fall for the SBC. Let’s talk Paul Pressler and Matthew Queen. Women pastors are large distraction you and others are peddling, but we’re not falling for it. Vote against #sbcamendment
Thank you, @Jeff_Iorg, for your explanation of why the #sbcamendment should not be passed at #sbc24 in Indy. Once again, voting against it isn't a mark of theological liberalism; it's a mark of believing the issue is far more complex and it would not help, only hurt the SBC.
The Southern Baptist Convention will soon consider final action on an amendment to the SBC Constitution stating that a cooperating Southern Baptist church “affirms, appoints, or employs only men as any kind of pastor or elder as qualified by Scripture.”

I will vote against the #SBCAmendment. I will vote for either @BruceFrank1 or @keahbone. I will want @SBCExecComm, @SBTS, and @Lifeway to answer for the #Amicusbrief. My reasons are much more complex than being a "liberal," "moderate," "conservative," or "fundamentalist." +
Every single one of these arguments could be applied to the SBC's Constitution on homosexuality, or even the Convention's position on baptism.
These folks want to be ambiguous.
Vote this June to support the @sbcamendment
#SBCAmendment #LawAmendment #SBC
Messengers attending this June’s Southern Baptist Convention in Indianapolis will cast votes on items of significant importance. The deciding second-year vote on the “Law Amendment” is at the top of that list.

An extremely helpful summary of the issues surrounding the Law amendment in @BaptistPress by @TrevinWax #sbcamendment https://t.co/8LfOyK8McB
I’m not RTing it. I’m not giving him the attention he craves.
Time to stop answering the fool according to his folly.
Let your vote be your voice, messengers. #SBC23 #WhatIsAPastor #WeHaveABook #SBCAmendment
Figured it was time to revisit #ByWhatStandard before NOLA next week. Within the first 3 minutes, there's a clip of a Lifeway rep being super cagey about the question of women in the pastorate. Seems like this is an ongoing question that needs a clear answer. #SBCAmendment
Here is Mike Law’s statement to the @SBCExecComm regarding his constitutional amendment calling for the SBC to uphold the Baptist Faith & Message 2000 and the clear biblical teaching that pastors should only be biblically qualified men.
