There are also material practices such as tourism and events, and merchandise including flags and 'everyday cosplay' like hats and t-shirts. Public performance of fandom which allows connection with others. #SCMS21 #SCMSL01

Participants are interactive, collective and productive. They look for pieces across media, discuss and imagine the world otherwise and create fanon. Real person fiction is one of the closest parrallels between fandom and white supremacy. #SCMS21 #SCMSL01
