@DrJN_SportsMed Lots of reports of this. Sadly some patients, no matter what graft is used, will report donor site issues. The question is whether one graft will have less issues without affecting clinical outcomes. We hope #stability2 will shed some light - 850+ recruited and counting….
@NuelleSportsMD One is cheap as chips. The other….. Will perceived benefits of QT be worth the cost?

No doubt each graft offers diff risk/benefit profile. Each also has specific rehab needs.

In this study from the January issue of KSSTA, conducted at the UPMC Freddie Fu Sports Medicine Center at the University of Pittsburgh, the authors demonstrated high surgical complexity in revision ACL-R due to high rates of concurrent procedures.

@OrthoThompson @DrRajuEaswaran @pmacdonald16 My experience is same as what this study shows. Less sensory loss with oblique incision. Plus it doesn’t complicate any further procedures. Interested to know what issues you have had/seen. In any case, prob better to use BTB or QT #Stability2 😉

@kneeguyuk @NuelleSportsMD @hjluks QT failures in Danish study mostly focused in one centre treating very high risk patients (female handball). That said, they still failed.... we have just started recruitment for #Stability2. BTB vs QT +- LET. Should be done by @hjluks PGY34. 😉
