One of our recent sat tag sharks, Elon Musk, was tagged on May 5, 2021 near the Galapagos Islands. She measured a total of ~190 cm. In the few months we have been tracking Elon Musk, she has travelled a total of 3,126 miles!

Today, we are looking at Brew's tracks. Brew is a female porbeagle shark that was tagged in Catham, Massachusetts on November 30, 2019 by @beneaththewaves as part of a collaborative project. At the time, Brew measured a total length of ~221cm.

Happy #SatTagSaturday! Rebekah is an 8.5 ft tiger shark we tagged in April of 2018 in Tiger Beach. Since tagging her, Rebekah has traveled 8,061 miles making trips up and down the east coast of the United States! She last pinged in the Bahamas, near Tiger Beach!
