We hear this more often these days.. “just a few trees making way.. we can always plant saplings and make up” “just a few water bodies effected.. we can always create new ones” We were taught many drops together make the Ocean.. similarly removing many drops can dry up the Ocean too.. Same goes to Nature.. it takes every single tree to make up the Environment along with the Water sources. We (Every village/Town/City/State/Country) is on a fast track to destroying its environment.. thinking its jus them.. cause most places don’t have mature enough leadership to see beyond personal gain.. every leader/planner too probably thinks.. its just his little damage.. shouldn’t matter.. our economy is important.. but they are blind to the bigger picture. Blind to the rising temperatures… blind to the flooding.. Nature will be the last one to laugh.. The mighty Banyans will be one of the Architects of the final development. Sir ,What about hasdeo forest ??, everyday adivasis ,locals are holding banners , doing chipko Andolan still it’s being chopped Very unfortunate Adivasis are dependent upon it , It’s an elephant corridor & many endangered species live there #SaveHasdeo
