A lot of Democrats in California are about to wake up and realize the biggest threat to their neighborhood wasn’t Donald Trump. It was the very Democrats they voted for.
SB 79 just went in effect in California. In areas within a 1/2 mile of a major transit stop, a single family home could end up next to a 5 story apartment building with no setbacks and no parking requirements.
If these Democrats object, they will be called NIMBY racists who don’t deserve homeownership because Gen Z needs to rent from Blackstone, Vanguard & State Street for the rest of their lives and never own anything.
San Diego really said “fuck that” to SB 79 by labeling basically the entire city “fire risk” so they can keep blocking housing.
