Tonight marks four complete series of both SOTLU and #TheArchitectureTheRailwaysBuilt: that's 76 hours of Television documentaries about a thing that I - and some of the crew - have adored for a lifetime. It was never meant to be 76 episodes; I thought I might get a three-parter on BBC Four if I was lucky.
But to all of you who have in any way viewed, shared, fed back, visited, emailed me, come over to me in the pub or aboard a train.... thank you.
You have all changed my life, and I am forever grateful to you for giving me the privileges which have come my way because of it.
Whether there are more series or not in the future (and I will say that given the state of indy media production in the UK now, and ever-tightening budgets, I would not get too hopeful...) there is a lot of other stuff coming down the tracks - on related topics, whether it's Siddy on #hiddenhangouts or me on @TFL #mindthegap podcast, or our other ventures...
