It makes me wonder why there is very little talk about confession or repentance. It's like π€... Do they really care about this predator that they're defending? What about the families & communities of these predators? What about the significant impact that abuse will have on people's faith & the testimony of Jesus?
Not only are they multiplying harm on the victims & perpetuating abuse. They aren't helping the predators one bit spiritually. Not the predators family or community. Not the victims. Not making their ministries safer or harder for predators to target new victims.
Also, when did pastors & president's of Christian organizations become the lost sheep? These guys only seem to be concerned about not accusing predators. It's fine to accuse victims, advocates, other pastors, journalists & professionals. Just not predator pastors that happen to be their pals.
