Since I posted this clip the south lift has been fixed with thanks to @Royal_Greenwich-but the north lift hasn’t worked for two years now. It’s so important both lifts work together, otherwise for some, there’s no point crossing here. #ActiveTravel @NewhamLondon #SuperLoop @TfL
@Londonist I find the Woolwich Foot tunnel eerie and atmospheric. It’s not as busy as Greenwich but may well get more use once all the new flats are built on either side. It’s a shame maintenance costs of lifts aren’t factored into property developers’ S106 agreement.
@MyWoolwich @MetroUK Lots of improvements and I hope there can be some serious investment in the Foot Tunnel lifts. With growth on the north side too this should be a priority. #Superloop @TfL @MayorofLondon
