People with #T1D, #T3cD #CFRD do not make C-Peptide, somatostatin, Ghrelin or Amylin in the way that people without these conditions do. So please, don’t talk to us about your glucose spikes or your hypos. You actually have NO idea what you are talking about.

Very little patient information out there specifically for #T3c No specific structured education for people with #T3cD #chronicpancreatitis management is complex and then add #diabetes into the mix Would love to collaborate with anyone who shares a similar interest 🧐

A 🧵… Great evening last night listening to the @nottmhospitals team share their #chronicpancreatitis clinic experience so far ➡️ 50% had #T3cDiabetes ➡️ 81% requiring #insulin Interesting 🤔 that there are no specific national guidelines for the management of #T3cD

#T1D #T3cD #disbetes On holiday in coastal Maine. BG was beautiful all day. Flat line around 120 bc exercise, good weather, no stress. Trick is to get carbs, both complex and simple to avoid low, then calculate insulin in case a carb shoots me up high.
