Three stormy, but unforgettable days at #TCTME just came to an end. Worth every mile & jet lag. The halls stayed packed till the very last moments.
I had the privilege of sharing our structural and electrosurgical experience from @EmoryUniversity and was honored to moderate a high-level scientific session for the first time.
One of the highlights was finally meeting so many colleagues—friends, really—from across the US, Europe, and the Middle East.
I was truly impressed by the level of advancement in interventional and structural cardiology in Saudi. It’s inspiring.
A special shoutout to the #ICOACH session—an innovative, first-of-its-kind format blending live cases, simulation, and interactive teaching in real-time. Brilliant execution.
Live cases streamed from across continents, intense debates, case competitions, wet labs, hands-on sessions with animal cadavers, and even a “shark tank” with a 200K$ award.
To the program directors and organizing committee: hats off. No one would believe this was the first TCTME. The organization, flow, and quality were world-class.

Day 2 at #TCTME���by far the busiest day of the conference!
I had the chance to present our Emory experience with some fascinating complex structural cases, apical bassinett and a unicorn in an aortic pseudoaneurysm.
The energy was nonstop with sessions happening everywhere—tons of learning, and still so much I couldn’t catch.
The iCOACH sessions were a major highlight:
•Nodular calcification with incredible insights from @MaeharaAkiko and @DrShereen_
•MTEER iCOACH session led by @MohammedQintar , @MarwanSaadMD , and @kalazizimd
•TTVR iCOACH session with @hahn_rt , @mirvatalasnag , @MusaSharkawi , and @JoaoLCavalcante
•Transseptal and LAAO iCOACH led by @adnanalkhouli , @RHAAttar , and @DrAlsubei
We had a fantastic ViMAC TMVR
Live Case in a Box session with #TobyRogers, @6ayyeboon , and @dr_aalenezi , followed by a great TPVR Live Case from Dublin, Ireland led by @structuralheart and @AlkashkariWail and operated by #DamienKenny
The case competition was fierce—with excellent coronary and structural cases, moderated by @HindAlosaimi_, @NireenO , @TheDoctorMack, @Uthman_Aluthman, and @nadia_sutton .
Also attended a fantastic debate session led by @herbaronowMD and @BatoolAbuhalim1, and a series of strong research abstracts organized by @djc795.
The day also featured a wide range of hands-on training and wet lab sessions covering everything imaginable in the coronary and structural field.
Finally, detailed sessions on mechanical circulatory support (MCS) were led by @HRahbi .
