Pioneering India’s #6G Journey with Optical #Innovation!
@CDOT_India has partnered with @iitbombay to develop Optical Transceiver Chipset for High-Bandwidth 6G Wireless Links under the Telecom Technology Development Fund (#TTDF) scheme by @USOF_India, @DoT_India.
This project aims to develop #chipsets for free-space coherent optical links, designed to:
1. Bring high-speed #connectivity to rural areas and regions where laying optical #fibers is difficult.
2. Provide uninterrupted high-bandwidth #communication through #satellites.
3. Enable last-mile connectivity for #6G applications.
Built on the pillars of #Affordability and #Sustainability, this initiative aligns with the #Bharat6G Vision to make India a global contributor to #6G technology.

Achieving wide-band spectrum efficiency through innovation!
In a landmark step toward advancing indigenous #telecom technology, @CDOT_India has signed an agreement with @IIT_Mandi under Telecom Technology Development Fund (#TTDF) scheme by @USOF_India, @DoT_India, to develop a Wideband Spectrum Sensor ASIC Chip for dynamic spectrum access.
This project aims to achieve #SpectrumEfficiency by developing reliable wideband spectrum sensing (#WSS) algorithms, enabling cognitive radio networks to detect spectrum holes and deliver affordable broadband services, especially in rural #India.
Key Highlights:
i. Development of hardware-friendly algorithms for sensing more than 2 GHz spectrum.
ii. Creation of IPs for #WidebandSpectrumSensing for enhanced utilization.
iii. Targeting 6 GHz satellite bands to boost throughput & dynamic spectrum access.
iv. Emulation of designs in field-programmable gate-array (#FPGA), followed by Application-specific integrated circuit (#ASIC) chip tape-out to enhance spectrum efficiency.
This collaboration aligns with #AtmanirbharBharat, #MakeInIndia, & the #IndiaSemiconductorMission.

Driving AI-driven 5G Advancements!
@CDOT_India, in collaboration with AI Touch, is driving the development of an AI-driven #5G RAN (Radio Access Network) platform. This initiative, under the Telecom Technology Development Fund (#TTDF) scheme by @USOF_India, @DoT_India, will lead to development in #5G RAN.
This project will develop the following components to enable intelligent, automated network management:
i. RIC – RAN Intelligent Controller
ii. SMO – Service Management & Orchestration
iii. NWDAF – Network Data Analytics Function
Designed with AI/ML-powered closed-loop automation, the solution will facilitate:
i. AI-driven RAN & Core optimization.
ii. Real-time user experience management during congestion.
iii. Seamless third-party app on-boarding.

Strengthening Indigenous Surveillance Capabilities!
@CDOT_India signed an agreement with Trois Infotech Pvt. Ltd. (@Trois_Global) for the project Face Recognition Using Drone under the Telecom Technology Development Fund (#TTDF) program of @USOF_India and @DoT_India .
The project is aimed at:
i. Developing AI-based facial recognition with advanced edge processing.
ii. Integrating long-range cameras (500m+), night vision, and custom imaging systems.
iii. Enabling connectivity via WiFi HaLow, 4G LTE, and #5G.

@CDOT_India signed an agreement with Silizium Circuits Pvt. Ltd. for the project Design & Development of LEO Satellite Components & GNSS RF Front-End ASIC under the Telecom Technology Development Fund (#TTDF) program of @USOF_India and @DOT_India.
The project focuses on:
i. Developing advanced RF systems for LEO satellites & Ka-band #MIMO with beam steering
ii.Designing GaAs/GaN chipsets for SATCOM (3.5 GHz & 28 GHz) and #5G integration
iii. Creating a #5G/GNSS RF ASIC for seamless, high-speed #communication
