Why do we incl behaviors (participation, handing in on time, putting heading, etc.) in grades? Shouldn’t grades be knowledge? Early 1900s, immigration led 2 schools needing 2 “Americanize” students by preparing them w/ habits factories prized in workers. #TUPSLeadersinLearning
