After my mother made a 2 day road trip to the Tesla service center in High Point, NC to repair a squeaky sound in the front end while driving, this is the aftermath. They literally fixed nothing … I can’t believe they didn’t even test drive it to check after the repair. My mother is deaf in one ear and has a hard time pinpointing sounds so she was worried to complain as she thought maybe she wasn’t hearing it correctly. I’m in town for Christmas and took it for a drive today and this is what I discovered. Now I guess she is expected to book a hotel and make yet another trip. I will be reaching out to the service manager next week. He was super friendly and communicative so I’m sure he will be happy to help. I’m just disappointed that they didn’t validate the repairs.

Tesla Torrance service center has some amazing customer service!
Tesla mobile service came to replace my Yoke today but said it wasn’t peeling enough to qualify. I don’t pick at it or peel at the spots like everyone else because I don’t want them to look raggedy. I know what’s happening so I just don’t touch it. I’ve now exposed the loose area and rescheduled the appt and they’re arguing with me saying they may not cover it because it has to “naturally come off”. How does that even happen? If the car is sitting in the driveway does the material just fall off??

@jchybow Also I bought my Model Y last month. I got Tesla insurance. The Tesla insurance based on your driving score. Because i work at night, i have to drive at night but that is taking down my driving score so i have pay more #TeslaServiceIssues #TeslaQualityIssues #TeslaRepairIssues
