I was thinking during #ARA2019 that I was glad to be a member of an association where it seemed unlikely that we would have an equivalent of #thatdarnarticle. Not perfect by any means, but with a genuine commitment, via things like the code of ethics, and the fact that diversity>

Something I've been thinking about since #saa19: the fact that the phrase "#thatdarnarticle" was coined to euphemistically and cutesily refer to racism/bigotry. Not sure I've ever heard "darn" used to refer to something that actively causes POC stress/anxiety/trauma before

I'm one week on from reading #thatdarnarticle and today I'm attending mental health first aid training. It has me thinking even more about how we need to be proactive in fostering inclusion and diversity, and that we need to actively support and accept others 1/...
