Something I've been thinking about since #saa19: the fact that the phrase "#thatdarnarticle" was coined to euphemistically and cutesily refer to racism/bigotry. Not sure I've ever heard "darn" used to refer to something that actively causes POC stress/anxiety/trauma before
I was going to try to avoid getting involved in any debates about #ThatDarnArticle but, as those on the Australian archives listserv will see, I have failed. Sigh.

I'm one week on from reading #thatdarnarticle and today I'm attending mental health first aid training. It has me thinking even more about how we need to be proactive in fostering inclusion and diversity, and that we need to actively support and accept others 1/...
