I was just going to link this to my other post on #PeterTatchell, but after reading it (and dealing with the resultant nausea) I decided it deserves its own post.
In this review of Warren Middleton’s “The Betrayal of Youth,” to which he contributed, Tatchell clearly and directly expresses support for “consenting, victimless sexual relationships between younger and older people…especially where the relationship is of a tender and caring nature.”
He also states that children should be given “greater rights,” “treat[ed] as young adults,” and “given opportunities to exercise power and choice in every facet of their lives, including their sexual and emotional feelings.”
Make no mistake - what Tatchell is calling for here is for children to be given the “right” to have sex with adults. There is no mention of any age limit, and he very plainly says that he believes in consenting relationships between children and adults.
As I discussed in my last post, Tatchell uses the same language I’ve heard from pedophiles in interrogation rooms. He says “younger people” instead of “children,” and pushes the idea that child rape can be “tender and caring.”
He doesn’t even bother with the usual pro-forma statement that children cannot consent; instead he tries to differentiate between “coercive and abusive” child rape, and the kind of child rape in which the victim has been groomed to enjoy it.
As this apparently needs saying - it shouldn’t, but it clearly does - there is no such thing as “tender and caring” child sexual abuse. ALL molestation is coercive and abusive, and it is NEVER the child’s fault or choice, no matter how the abuser tries to twist words and events to make it seem that way.
What Tatchell is promoting here is no less vile, no less damaging to its victims, than the type of abuse he claims is so different.
His presentation of child sexual abuse as somehow being a child’s “right” is also a common theme among pedophiles under interrogation.
They will tell you, as Tatchell does, that some children WANT sex with adults, that their “relationship” with their victims is “tender and caring,” that they LOVE their victims, even that the child initiated the relationship.
None of them ever seem to understand - as Tatchell fails to understand - is that if that is true, under those circumstances it is the adult’s responsibility to say NO.
Tatchell has no business speaking for the gay community. He has promoted child sexual abuse far too often (even one time is too many, and he’s done it repeatedly). It’s past time for the @BBC to stop trotting this creep out to give his opinion every time they discuss something that affects the #LGB community.

Oh yeah! I recall being told during 2005/6 at a parent/school conference hosted by a retired FBI agent who works w/the #NCMEC, that **on average** pedophiles are 1st caught after 200 times of offending. No wonder they’ve gotten brave enough to try to normalize it. 🤦♀️🤬😱🤢🤮
