There's a pervasive attitude that we should just SNAP OUT OF IT.

If you have someone who is able to accompany you, that may help. You also have the right to ask that a nurse or physician's asst., be in the room with you for an exam. Pls explain this anxiety issue is real and you need an MD who respects your needs. Mental & Physical. Be safe.
