No one would suggest, e.g., that a classroom is "unsafe" for Christian students just because the teacher is a Jew or a Muslim or an atheist. But TRAs maintain that, if a teacher does not accept trans belief claims as true, that makes the classroom "unsafe" for trans students. That's just another way of saying that we must all accept trans beliefs as true and that is not consistent with the existence of a liberal, pluralistic society. It is also not consistent with academic excellence: Free inquiry into all sorts of ideas has been replaced by an obsession for “safe spaces” where students can be protected from ideas that they disagree with or don't like.
