The UN just released a report that states "clear and convincing information that sexual violence, including rape, sexualized torture, cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment has been committed against hostages," and "there are reasonable grounds to believe that conflict-related sexual violence occurred" as part of Hamas' attack on Oct. 7. What does the report recommend to do about it? Not much. Release the hostages - a good start. And then for Israel to cooperate with the Commission of Inquiry that has nothing to do with sexual violence. Foreign Minister Katz called Erdan back to Israel for consultations in protest that "the U.N. Secretary-General did not call a meeting of the U.N.
