@GregAbbott_TX Rs shouldn’t have whipped and passed the Hurd R Tx #USAAct in 2018 but instead caved to the white nationalist protectionist faction and instead did nothing significant at the border. #EpicFail
@DillonHinkle94 @johncardillo @CarlitaKopitch It’s beyond time to tell the truth about Trump’s record.
-No wall.
-Didn’t only hire the best people.
-Didn’t introduce a healthcare policy.
-Didn’t pass comprehensive immigration reform despite having a viable bill in the #USAAct by Hurd R Tx.
-Pardoned cronies & criminals
@BetoORourke Dems need to revisit the #USAAct of 2018 and pass bipartisan immigration reform. We need to give DACA a rigorous pathway to citizenship, build the wall where appropriate, and equip our border with more resources. We have to fix the border before the next election.
@JohnCornyn @WSJ You had a unified government under Trump. You had several comprehensive immigration reform bills including a bipartisan one by Hurd R Texas called the #USAAct. None of you are serious about immigration reform which is why it didn’t happen. You prefer the wedge issue. #BeBetterGOP
@mehdirhasan @SenWarren No one wants Ds 2 hold hands w extremists. Set the agenda of raising debt ceiling, codifying Roe, passing the Electoral Count Act & emoluments reforms, make tax returns a requirement to run 4 potus a law, & revive the bipartisan #USAAct to take care of DACA & invite them along.
@DavidJollyFL Dems won (again) because they won swing voting indies & never Trump Rs. It wasn’t a vote 4 progressive politics, it was a vote against sedition, chaos, & extremism.
They should codify Roe, raise the debt ceiling, pass ECA, & revive the #USAAct 4 DACA.

@TheLeadCNN @jaketapper @RepGonzalez @GOP Btw this is immoral, un-Christian, and unethical. If the @gop is serious about this issue, whip and pass the #USAAct. Stop playing games with real human beings. It’s disgusting. #BeBetterGOP

@TheLeadCNN @jaketapper @RepGonzalez The Trump admin was presented w a bipartisan comprehensive immigration reform bill in the form of the #USAAct by Hurd R Tx. The white nationalists around Trump wouldn’t accept any deal that included a pathway to citizenship for DACA kids even if it had wall, drones, agents, etc.
@DFOElPaso @CBPWestTexas @CBP Great seizure. However it's really unfortunate that the last administration was unable to whip & pass the #USAAct by Hurd R Tx which would have given you more resources such as border wall where needed, smart wall tech where wall is not appropriate, drones, $ for more agents....
@AlOtroLado_Org @JoaquinCastrotx @SenBlumenthal I would love it if Dems would take a second look at the #USAAct which had a path to citizenship for DACA & smart wall tech.

@Johartz @DavidAFrench Trump & the MAGA wing had a unified gov 4 the 1st half. THEY FAILED on:
-Infrastructure
-School Choice
-Healthcare including dental & vision to all
-Comprehensive immigration reform in the #USAAct by Hurd R Tx which had 40 bipartisan authors
-Closing Carried Interest loophole
@RepLizCheney Why isn’t the centrist caucus reintroducing the #USAAct by Hurd R Tx? It had 40 bipartisan cosponsors. Someone else can champion it since he’s gone. Let’s get this done so we can move beyond comprehensive immigration reform issue.
@JimSwiftDC @SykesCharlie The GOP has yet 2 come up w an alternative 2 Obamacare.
Hurd R Tx offered the #USAAct after 45* called 4 a bipartisan bill of ❤️. Rs need illegal immigration 4 farm labor which is why no real immigration reform has been introduced.
I’m convinced Rs have no intention to govern.
@greggnunziata The #GQP had NO platform in 2020. The 45** admin failed to pass the Hurd R Tx. #USAAct, healthcare, protections for preexisting conditions, infrastructure, closing the earned interest income loophole, & a strong response to Russia & NK. There is no alternative policy to debate.
@SenateGOP @SenatorTimScott The #GQP did not have a platform in the 2020 election. The 45** admin failed to pass the Hurd R Tx. #USAAct, healthcare, protections for preexisting conditions, infrastructure, closing the earned interest income loophole, & a strong response to Russia & NK. #RIPGOP #ETTD
@JohnCornyn @KFYO The Trump admin had a chance to pass the Hurd (R) Texas #USAAct which had 40 bipartisan co-sponsors. Your party & impotus failed to pass comprehensive immigration reform because it caved to nazis & extremists. You probably need to sit this one out. #TrumpFailure #BeBetterGQP
@RichLowry He failed to pass comprehensive immigration reform because he caved to white nationalists in & around his admin. Hurd R Tx gave him the #USAAct after 45** called for a "bipartisan bill of love." It had 40 bipartisan co-sponsors & didn't include tender aged child separation.
@GoldenRuleLover @jacobsoboroff @GeoffRBennett @JonathanBlitzer Which moderate Republicans in the House in 2021 would revive the #USAAct?
Looks like many of the 2018 Republican cosponsors are no longer in Congress: https://t.co/roNY1wUBxg
@JohnCornyn @USBPChiefDRT The Trump admin had a change to pass the #USAAct by Hurd R Tx after calling for a bipartisan "bill of love." It had 40 bipartisan co-sponsors but was tanked by white nationalists in the WH and Coulter. Trump & the GOP own the failure to pass comprehensive immigration reform.
@jacobsoboroff @GeoffRBennett @JonathanBlitzer Honest question. Why wouldn't Dems (& moderate Rs) revive the #USAAct originally by Hurd R Tx since it had 40 bipartisan co sponsors to start to address comprehensive immigration reform?
