You use (a US based sub processor even if data processed in the EU) you lose because #USCloudAct and Art 48 GDPR.
Even if the server is possibly located in the EU, the US company has access to it, so that the US Cloud Act applies.
@JolyonMaugham They will try everything to wrong-foot you. Seriously, parse the full e-mail headers on all e-mails received. Look for e-mails sent from blacklisted servers, purportedly from HMCTS and other institutions. Also, any e-mail processed on US tech co servers, #USCLOUDACt applies.

@Anniepop2027 @JolyonMaugham @mrjamesob @LBC Google is a US technology company which means it has to comply with the #USCLOUDAct which gives the US govt and its agencies the power to access data on Google's servers without a warrant. This data is probably obtainable by anyone in the US with enough money. No need to hack.

@timolarch I don't know for how long this has been happening but NHSMail goes via US servers which means that anyone with enough money can access it (#USCLOUDAct ). I have complained about this to the DCMS.
