@MattKlacik06 This is an extremely common example of losing face!! But even more so people watching these scenes can experience losing face too. Sometimes when I watch a scene I get second hand embarrassment. #UTcommtheory

An example of pathos would be the commercials that show abandoned animals in hopes of obtaining donations. This plays into the pity element of animals that need help, and evoke an emotional response in order to obtain their goal + spread their message efficiently. #UTcommtheory

1/2 I absolutely believe that the stronger the relation we have with someone, that it will cause us to use more media with them. I most only contact classmates through their one phone number or snapchat/instagram whichever they may have given me. #UTcommtheory

Out of all the 12 criteria used to evaluate a theory, I think tue one that is most important is the understanding of people. Understanding people’s reaction and showing empathy can truly understand each other, it also makes the communication for efficient. #utcommtheory
