More than 200 students at the University of Fort Hare @ufh1916 have not received their private accommodation allowances since the academic year started.
Itโs September, and more than 200 students living in private accommodations havenโt received their allowances. Itโs been story after story for months. Landlords have been threatening to evict us.

Students are being evicted everyday at the University of Forthare because apparently they are waiting for your approval to be able to load our accomodation allowances. Students are evicted as we speak.

I am concerned about the reports that the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) funded students at the University of Fort Hare have been left without accommodation.
I have requested a report on the situation from both NSFAS and the University of Fort Hare.
The students of the University of Fort Hare are being chased out of private residences on the basis that they cannot pay the money for rent. The main reason is that UFH financial aid office does not load the money to students' accounts.
