@LiberalLosersMO Says the account created last month 😂 Sorry Tim, your playbook is expiring.

Conservatives see every day how disastrous this is for Missouri citizens.
#VoteNoOnAmendment5 it will cripple Missourians w/shifting taxes at a rate unknown on tbd goods & services by politicians w/o having to ask citizens. #VoteNoOn4 as that is the vehicle that will put the nail in the coffin to do so. More govt control. Less for the citizens.
Yet he wants to place something in our Mo Constitution that has a 5 year limit to wreak havoc on Mo citizens?#VoteNoOnAmendment5 bc it’s how these thieves take our 💵 & #VoteNoOn4 bc that’s the nail in the coffin with which to get it accomplished. Good try Burlison we see you 👀
You can read the US Constitution in an hour.
You can't read Missouri's in an afternoon, it's a novel full of bingo rules and a marijuana cartel's handiwork.
Amendment 4 raises the bar to change it. That's how it should be.
This also applies to the State of Missouri. Politicians have run our state into the ground. Now they wanna take YOUR MONEY to pay for THEIR mistakes.
#VoteNoOnAmendment5 which is how they do it (tax shift) & #VoteNoOnAmendment4 which is the nail in the coffin to get it done.
Yes please
They have plans…….
They’ve always had a plan. They just hoped people wouldn’t see.
Good job @FQgrl on spotting this!
How can others see these types of things? Help others help themselves.

This is what #Missouri legislators have in store for us. They are so hoping amendment 5 passes. They have tax bills waiting in the wings. I'm sure there are others but I just ran across HB 2609 "Fair Tax Act 2026" filed in January to implement a 5.11% broad sales tax with a "one-time adjustment." Keep in mind this 5.11% would be on top of the existing 4.22% state tax. Analysis shows 5.11% won't be sufficient. It's more likely that the "one-time adjustment" could raise as high as 8-12% bringing a combined sales tax rate (current local + Fair tax) of 15-20%. As of May it's sitting in committee as "emerging issues" just waiting.

Pay attention to the Mo Sec of State page itself BEFORE the court made them reword the ballot language and AFTER. Notice the highlighted yellow areas. They ADMIT they have no idea how it will impact taxes. Don’t believe me, go to the page yourselves!
This is it. This is their strategy. You see it ALL OVER. If you are #VoteNoOnAmendment5 this is what you get. It’s comical at this point. 😜 😵💫
@RepEricBurlison Aren’t we supposed to be eliminating taxes not just shifting where they come from? #VoteNoOnAmendment5
@RareCamellia Whether you like these people or not, they’re spot on. This amendment is disastrous at best. #VoteNoOnAmendment5
Aw look, @TheTomEstes turned off his comments. I wonder why? Maybe because this amendment is a disaster, it’ll cripple Mo citizens, it lacks transparency, and it’s a tax SHIFT all while lifting restrictions on our Hancock Amendment. #VoteNoOnAmendment5
It’s bad for Missouri.
@NickBSchroer No thanks. Now it's just the people in office stealing our tax dollars. #VoteNOonAmendment5 #Missouri
Reward work, grow the economy, and let families keep more of their money.
@catdeeann @Right2WinOzarks @MoTaxReliefNow It also subverts the Hancock Amendment. #VoteNoOnAmendment5
@RareCamellia @AP4Liberty @MissouriPromise @MoTaxReliefNow @AFPMissouri You’re winning at lying to Missouri citizens. It’s not the flex you think it is.
Don’t let them use this to subvert the very Hancock Amendment we voted for.
“Notwithstanding”

@RareCamellia #VoteNoOnAmendment5
It’s a tax SHIFT. This is bad for Missourians. You’ll be taxed to death on other things, politicians admit they don’t have a plan & it relies on citizens to trust” politicians/govt on what/how they’ll tax us. No one should ever sign up for that.
@FreedompplMO #VoteNoOnAmendment5
This will cripple Missourians. Don’t let them sell you a lie. We need to abolish income tax and this is not the way. In fact, this is a tax SHIFT.
@benKeath #VoteNoOnAmendment5
It’s a tax SHIFT, a blank check to govt to tax us on goods & services we’ve never been taxed on before. It won’t ax the tax for at least 5 years so we will be double taxed. It’s is a disaster of an amendment & offensive they’re even bringing this to us.
