I met #JimGray while working at @Microsoft. Later on I had a chance to talk with him at length at one of the #WinFS #designpreview meetings at the #Redmond campus. Jim was lost at sea. #RIP https://t.co/OASWa5XmsH I read #CoddAndDate as part of my MMath/CS program @ @UWaterloo

@kidehen @gideonro @judell Oh I loved those @judell podcasts. One of my favorite ones was about #WinFS and #VirtuosoRDBMS. Sad Microsoft Semantic Engine never got proper attention. Maybe it'd be a good idea for @judell to interview @AnneJHunt on building Kinds book for Microsoft Semantic Engine.

@gideonro @danielko Yep! Years ago @judell interviewed me about #WinFS in relation to what was taking shape re the notion of #SemanticWeb. All the key tech players have dabbled in this #LinkedData "holy grail". It's nice to see how @danielko has painstakingly pieced together a great narrative.
