The compound was founded in 1988 by Hafiz Saeed It was at this site that Ajmal Kasab and others were trained for the Mumbai attacks. The terrorist recruits from across Pakistan are first brought here before they moved to advanced terrorists courses of suicide bombing or commando training once they graduated from here. But the training always started after they first converted to Ahl-e-Hadith, schooled in the methods of Hadith. The recruits were shown films of successful fidayeen attacks on Indian installations, indoctrinated in jihadist ideology, and taught to blame India for their poverty and the suffering of Muslims. Alongside the brutal basic courses, recruits were allowed time for cricket and other sports. During their happier times the terrorists also loved spending time in the pool. You can compare Muridke for terrorists to what the NDA is for military personnel. The pain Operation Sindoor have inflicted on those who sought to harm India cannot be measured in words. To many terrorists, Muridke had been a place of fond memories before they left for their final mission, not merely an establishment, but an emotion.
