We heard at #Primetown2021 that the #YACPrime study done with 622 YAs in Canada showed 46.7% of young adults with cancer have moderate to severe psychological distress. Those with body image dissatisfaction, fear of cancer recurrence and poor social support were at highest risk.

The #YACPrime team has been working away with the survey data, and the latest news we have is half of the study participants reported symptoms of insomnia, and about 30 per cent use sleep medications.
