Today, I participated in a panel where three Jewish scholars discussed #Antisemitism, #antislam, #Islamophobia, and the importance of feminist solidarity with all victims of oppression and violence perpetrated by any entity, group, or state.
Simona Sharoni, a highly regarded academic in this domain and the daughter of a Holocaust survivor, delivered a deeply moving presentation. Her heartfelt words resonated with everyone present, evoking a shared sense of empathy for her experience of grief.
She conveyed that “#NeverAgainIsNow” symbolizes peace, love, and #solidarity for all. Moreover, she emphasized that #Holocaust and intergenerational trauma should never be weaponized to justify or legitimize #genocide.
