As during the First Ethiopian-Italian War and the victories of Dogali 1887 and Adou on March 1, 1896. Then recently in December 2022, the War against the Tigrayan Proxy, the Afars are the unsung heroes of these victories. 1896 Emperor Menelik, in 1935 Emperor Haile Selasié, in December 2022 Abiy Ahmed and Berhanu Julu have reaped all the laurels of these victories.

Details are lacking here on the fall of Adwa, which is not officially confirmed, but probably admitted.
Will the defenders of the city have finally given in to the tanks and planes against which the Danakils have no means of defense? They will certainly have offered a magnificent defense before the Italians could fly their tricolor flag over the city.

The Nebuchadnezzar Statue represents this dream in the Book of Daniel 2.
King of Babylon Nebuchadnezzar ( Nebu /Nabu( Naba ) = Mighty; Chada read Kada = Great; Nezzar ( Nasr )= Victorious One, only in the Afar language does the name have a clear meaning ) is also well known for his relationship with Prophet Daniel, who was known for his ability to interpret the king's dreams when no one else could.
In Daniel Nebuchadnezzar's dream, God ( YAHWEH means The Provider, The Sustainer, in Afar language, the original Ephratith/Ephraïm language ) provided an overview of world events in the millennia yet to come.
The prophecy concerns the FOUR successive Potter Clay #Aphar creed Kingdoms ruled in the past and the fifth and final Kingdom yet to come: the everlasting Kingdom of the #God of Daniel's.
The first FOUR kingdoms have been identified.
The First one is the Nebuchadnezzar Babylonian Ephron creed Kingdom.
The second Kingdom is the Mede ( Manda ), Elamite ( Elama ) Persian, Apharnabazus creed.
The Third Kingdom is the Greek and Macedonian Ephoros/Ephori/Iphicrates creed.
The fourth Kingdom is the Roman ( Afer, Afranius, Afrinius, Africanus ) Empires.
Daniel said Nebuchadnezzar was the head of gold (Daniel ). Babylon fell to the Kingdom of the Medes and the Persians (Daniel -31). Greece became the successor to the Medo-Persian Empire (Daniel -21; - ).
The "iron" empire is, without question, Rome.
The Fifth and final Kingdom to come is God's final Kingdom with the coming of Aphar, Ephratith ( Ephraïm ) Jesus Christ (Revelation ).
Nebuchadnezzar statue represents a series of kingdoms, each less glorious than the one before, indicated by the decreasing value of the metals. Daniel identifies Nebuchadnezzar as the head of gold, stating that God had given Nebuchadnezzar much power ( Daniel -38 ). The successive kingdoms to arise will be inferior to Babylon, as will be the next.
"Finally, there will come a fourth kingdom, strong as iron ( Rome ). . . . It will crush and break all the others" ( Daniel ).
Lastly, the feet of mixed clay and iron "will be a divided kingdom" (Daniel ). During this final world empire, the "rock" will smash them all to bits, a prediction that "God . . . will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed" (Daniel ). All previous earthly kingdoms will be brought to an end.
The fifth empire and final empire. According to Revelation -13, the Antichrist will lead a coalition of ten nations (the statue's ten toes?). And we know that Ephratith Christ will defeat the forces of the Antichrist (Revelation ). After that, Jesus will set up God's Kingdom—the rock smashes the remnant kingdoms—and the kingdoms of this world will "become the Kingdom of God (Revelation ).
Nebuchadnezzar II was a powerful ruler in the sixth century BCE ( -605 to -562 ) and the longest-reigning king of Babylon ( Esagila/Asageyla Temple Patron ). He was a warrior king, often described as the most outstanding military leader of the Neo-Babylonian empire.
The Bible portrays King Nebuchadnezzar as the Babylonian king whose conquest of Judah led to the temple's destruction in Jerusalem. However, Nebuchadnezzar's royal authority was so great that even Heaven acknowledges his greatness in the Bible.
Nebuchadnezzar's greatness and strength had grown so much it reached the sky.
In Jeremiah 25:9, God revealed the identity of the enemy: "Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, my servant," who would come from the north to destroy the Kingdom of Judah.
NKJV Jeremiah 27:6 I have given all these lands to Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, My servant; and the beasts of the field I have also given him to serve him.
Ephron and Ephraïm/Ephratith are two sides of the same coin.

Ekrem Akurgal, the prominent Turkish archaeologist who surveyed a large part of Asia Minor, said the area contains no relics of art or industry, no remains of human culture or even habitation dating between -1200 and -750 BCE ( early Iron Age ). He said, “ It follows that any relics of culture between -1200 BCE and -750 BCE, in Central Asia Minor, especially, are lost for us beyond retrieving. No trace of Phrygians in central Anatolia. No Hittite empires left traces in southern Anatolia. What happened to the Tell Amarna tablets civilisations of the Near East?
They could find that after France Napoleon's occupation of Egypt from 1798 to 1801. France was the first European country to conquer Egypt.
The United Kingdom was the second European country. 1882-1956. I will name two archaeological artefacts: The Stella of King Mesha of Moab in 1868, just six years after France colonised Modern-day Djibouti in 1862: King Mesha said on the Moab Stella he was the King of Dybny ( Debneh Afar in Djibouti ) near the Lake Abbeh which is the Awash River confluent, the Biblical Euphrates River.
