#askagents is the minimum word count for YA contemporary 50 or 60k? I got a word count rejection the other day saying my word count needed to be 60k but I saw other resources and agents say 50k so I’m not too sure.

@purely_sophia #askagents. Yes, same question here except not spicy. My protagonist is 18. I think it could work as either YA or NA or crossover to either.
I have no idea how to query my new adult novel.
I know some agents don’t like or recognize NA, but the book is slightly mature for YA (not because of spice btw) and the protagonist is 18.
