I am deeply honored and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the 6th edition of the WHO Classification of Urinary and Male Genital Tumours (WHO Blue Book) - a cornerstone reference that has shaped the practice of pathology worldwide. In earlier editions, I was fortunate to contribute through original research and international collaboration. In the 2016 WHO GU Blue Book, 85 of my research articles, including 20 first-author publications, were cited, accounting for 2.7% (85 of 3,106) of all references cited in the WHO book – representing the highest contribution by a single individual. I was also honored to have co-authored 21 chapters in the 2022 WHO Classification of Urinary and Male Genital Tumours.   I am grateful for the opportunity to continue contributing to this important global effort and look forward to working with colleagues around the world on the upcoming edition.
