Still no water. The portapotties are full to the seat with feces. Nobody has been able to wash clothes since Thursday night. Water for bathing comes in sporadically and is a free for all until it is gone, which is immediately with so many residents in need. #DouglasWaterCrisis
Truth about water issue at ASPC Douglas....water table depleted. Which means water could be scarce for sometime. @dougducey , #ChuckRyan, no advance warning? Ridiculous to all this to happen in the Summer heat!!
Residents were told yesterday during a town hall that the water table was totally depleted and they would either have to truck in water and wait for it to replenish itself or they would have to drill new wells. This is not a city water issue or a water pressure issue.
