@pettersen4co And yet the #CoDems along with their gutless “leader” continue to levy fees on top of fees on top of fees against the very citizens of this, once amazing state
@KelleyKga Sadly, a lot of things in Colorado are horrifying. @GovofCO @jaredpolis and the #codems are ruining our state,
@Hickenlooper Excellent! Now explain Fees that the #codems and @GovofCO keep slapping on Colorado residents.
#CODems are fine taxing you more to provide “free” abortions/operations for their favorite interest groups.
Hey, @GovofCO Is this what you meant by saying you were saving Coloradans money?
"...the bill would cost a family of four up to $100 more in fees each month, or $1,200 per year."

@CBSNewsColorado The black market has already started thanks to #codems and their unconstitutional laws.
This will be like prohibition all over again.
@JohnE_Fabb @NICEnforcement All the while #CODems do their damndest to prevent us the means to protect ourselves. Never ever give up on your 2A.
This is disgusting what #CoDems are doing to this state. Colorado is making “Nanny States” look pretty mild. If the mid-Terms don’t completely upend what’s happening at our capitol, you can rest assured, people are going to start vacating this failing state.
This Dad was not neglectful. He wasn’t abusive. He simply asked questions — and for that, he is actively being cut out of his daughter’s life. HB25-1312 will turn more families into battlegrounds, punishing good parents for refusing to blindly affirm. It forces vulnerable children down one narrow path — that they were born in the wrong body — without room for exploration, caution, or care. That’s not protection. That’s coercion. And it’s cruel, Gimelshteyn said. This bill doesn’t protect kids. It protects a system that destroys families for loving their children in a way the state no longer tolerates. Read the full

Everything the gov says is a lie.
Everything the gov has is stolen.
#CODems love to compel speech and rob you to pay for the sacrifices demanded by their cult. Their commie policies will bankrupt you--are you just gonna lie there and take it?
"I don't understand why Colorado has become seemingly a test market for the most extreme policy, that's the Colorado I don't recognize, that's the Colorado that concerns me..."
Thank you @MBrooksHD45, and all the other Legislators who are standing up for Colorado with your speeches at the well!
SB25-183 institutionalizes taxpayer funded abortions in Colorado for the first time!
It wouldn’t be a Monday if we didn’t hear about how #codems want to add more fees! Happy Monday, Colorado! The government sticking it to the little guy again. #copolitics #DoBetterColorado
House Dems are cooking up new fees! HB25-1303, if passed, would impose a Crash Prevention Enterprise skirting around TABOR and imposing fees on insurance companies. Guess who will end up with the bill? You!

Sweet dreams liberty lovers! This does it for me today. We’ve have two solid days of crazy & my brain hurts, need some family time. This is what the #codems want your tax dollars going to. G’night! #DoBetterColorado #moralityissues #coleg #copolitics #taxationistheft
Sickest thing I have ever seen. Worst committee I have ever been a part of. Remember Coloradans, when you can’t afford basic necessities and teachers are fighting to fund K through 12 education, that you can get an elective procedure paid for by taxpayers and it’s going to cost the state millions and millions of dollars.

@denverpost If only we could get more taxes masquerading as “fees” and taxed even more the #codems would “fix” this. Just kidding they would just squander it, give it to themselves and keep taking our rights away.
This is our state on liberalism aka communism.
Super disappointing outcome! The majority of people who testified were AGAINST this bill. #coleg is not listening to the people. #codems Ignoring & scoffing those who testified that they didn’t agree with. We need some serious political cleanup! #copolitics #2A #DoBetterColorado
SB25-003 just passed—despite being a major violation of our Constitutional rights and a red herring on public safety. This is not how we protect our communities. Hear more from our Judiciary members @RepCaldwell @RepRyanArmagost @RepTyWinter:

BREAKING: A Trump @TheJusticeDept could enforce 18 US Code 242 against #coleg democrats who willfully pass unconstitutional laws and now, this. #copolitics @jaredpolis
https://t.co/LpI8rJRxAJ
18 U.S. Code § 242 makes it a federal crime for any official acting under color of law to deprive someone of their constitutional rights. This statute applies to legislators, law enforcement, and other government officials who knowingly violate rights protected by the U.S. Constitution.
If Colorado legislators knowingly pass laws that infringe upon the 2A, such as SB25-003, they could be held criminally liable under this statute. Penalties include fines, imprisonment, or both,
Courts have consistently ruled that government officials cannot claim immunity when deliberately enforcing unconstitutional laws, making this an avenue for accountability.
SB25-003 is a direct attack on the Second Amendment and conflicts with multiple Supreme Court precedents, including Heller, McDonald, Caetano, and Bruen.
If lawmakers pass this bill despite clear constitutional violations and judicial warnings, they could be criminally prosecuted for acting outside their lawful authority. Under 18 U.S. Code § 242, knowingly depriving Americans of a fundamental right, especially one explicitly protected by the Bill of Rights, could be grounds for federal enforcement.
This statute serves as a reminder that legislators are not above the law and that passing unconstitutional gun bans is not just bad policy, but a potential criminal offense.
If SB25-003 is enacted into law, the pro liberty movement in Colorado will engage the DoJ to look into the willful violation of Constitutional Rights of American citizens and 18 USC 242.
