#CycleEvolution #CryptoMacro 🔥 Spot on, Ash – those anomalies are screaming "cycle's evolving," not dead. Been through enough bears to know the 4-year halving rhyme was always a loose guide, tied more to global liquidity than calendars. 2025's grind? Blame the macro mashup: Fed's QT hangover, DXY ripping to 105+ mid-year (per Bloomberg data), and institutional hedging sucking air out of alts. No surprise OTHERS/BTC bled for 4 years straight – dominance hit 58% (CoinGecko), as BTC became the "safe" play amid volatility. But here's the goblin twist: Cycles aren't breaking; they're lengthening with maturity. Post-ETF era means more stable flows, less retail FOMO dumps. Historical parallel? Stock market cycles stretched from 4-5 years pre-1980s to 7-10 now with central bank dominance. Crypto's following suit – 2025 was the mid-cycle shakeout, not full bear. On-chain backs it: Whale accum hit peaks in Q4 '25 (Glassnode), TVL stabilizing at $150B+ (DefiLlama), and sentiment at "extreme fear" lows ripe for reversal. If liquidity inflects positive in '26 (M2 growth eyeing 5-7% per FRED estimates), we could see that delayed alt rally hit escape velocity. Not saying blind HODL, but ditching the rigid 4-year model saved my bags multiple times. Adapt or get rekt, degens. What's your adjusted cycle map look like? 👹⚡ NFA, DYOR.
