Here's my suggestion for a (new) #deepity:
"Without a State there would be anarchy."
It is trivially true because anarchy means without a state; but it is false (yet apparently profound) because anarchy is also used to mean chaos (not inherent in statelessness).

"The government can never run out of its own currency" is a typical #deepity: it sounds smart (to the economically illiterate) but means little or nothing. After all, the Weimar Republic didn't run out of currency; the currency ran out of purchasing power--it stopped being money.
This is always true at all times, by definition. The seller is so willing to sell, that he sells. The buyer is so unwilling to sell, that he buys.
Tells you nothing about the next price move. Or anything else.

All periods after red/orange spikes set a bottom range that preceded major advances.

"You can't have infinite growth in a finite world" is a #deepity. It has one use only: it signals your fundamental economic illiteracy. To agree with it, one would need to misunderstand the very concept of economy/economizing along with value and resource (and probably more).
