I purchased the NHAI FASTag Annual Pass, but despite having an active Annual Pass, my FASTag was suddenly showing BLACKLISTED, without any prior intimation.
Vehicle: JH05DR5101
FASTag issued by: State Bank of India
FASTag ID: 34161FA8203286144F47A0
The Rajmargyatra app clearly shows my Annual Pass as ACTIVE, valid from 20-01-2026 to 19-01-2027, with 75/200 crossings remaining. The SBI FASTag status also shows the tag as Active, yet the same screen simultaneously shows BLACKLISTED.
I contacted the SBI FASTag helpline 1800 11 0018. Instead of resolving the issue, I was directed to a local agent (62006 06290). The agent took my PAN card details and told me that the FASTag had been activated.
However, when I reached the next toll plaza, the FASTag was again BLACKLISTED.
I contacted SBI again, and this time I was told to contact NHAI on 1033. NHAI, in turn, is directing me back to the bank.
I am currently travelling and being forced to pay toll charges repeatedly despite having a valid Annual Pass. I have already paid more than ₹500 in just a few hours, and the amount continues to increase.
This is extremely frustrating: SBI and NHAI are passing the responsibility to each other while the customer is bearing the financial loss and inconvenience.
Please:
1. Immediately remove the blacklist/resolve the FASTag issue.
2. Ensure my Annual Pass remains valid and functional.
3. Refund/reimburse the toll charges wrongly collected after the issue occurred.
4. Investigate why my active FASTag/Annual Pass was showing as blacklisted without any prior notification.
5. Provide a clear resolution instead of directing me between SBI and NHAI.
I am attaching screenshots from Rajmargyatra and the FASTag status portal, which clearly show the discrepancy.
