@JoyceMatthews_ I thought I had to have all of the answers and keep everyone busy. I now realise that handing the reigns over to adult learners will not make me look unorganised or as though Iβm not doing my job! Instead itβs about empowerment!! #ff2na
@JoyceMatthews_ @IAFEnglandWales @IAFacilitators @ica_uk @LiberatingStru1 @LibStructLDN @myriamHadnes @SessionLab https://t.co/KNrFmuLxzo possibly? A few more in creation. @toolbox_toolbox also!
https://t.co/RXmMgW74F9 maybe?
@JoyceMatthews_ @morven87537981 @EilidhDJ @strob91 @Michellf83 @Claire_Smith81 @Hazel_McCl @GallSus @AngelaMcLellan1 @maclean_jo I would recommend it to anyone looking to develop skills and confidence when helping adults to learn in a meaningful, engaged way. I would say come with lots of questions, enthusiasm, love of learning...and more questions ππ. #ff2na
@GallSus @scottiegirl11 @morven87537981 @EilidhDJ @strob91 @Michellf83 @Claire_Smith81 @Hazel_McCl @AngelaMcLellan1 @maclean_jo Thank you Susie #futurefacilitator #ff2na
Final Question

@scottiegirl11 @JoyceMatthews_ Ha I was going to name it but didnβt have my notebook! ORID I think it was called. I want to do a little more reading to look at how to structure questions and more about Joβs description (head,sensation etc). #ff2na
@JoyceMatthews_ Team development and using the models from last night to structure reflection and evaluation #ff2na

@morven87537981 Do you agree? Do you think andragogy is more effective/'better' than pedagogy? #ff2na
@scottiegirl11 @JoyceMatthews_ @morven87537981 @EilidhDJ @strob91 @Claire_Smith81 @Hazel_McCl @GallSus @AngelaMcLellan1 @maclean_jo In my opinion definitely. If we are given proof that something is working we are more likely to put ourselves out there. The challenge can be reaching out to people who are reluctant to embrace new ways of working (for their own respectable reasons of course) #ff2na
@Michellf83 @JoyceMatthews_ @morven87537981 @EilidhDJ @strob91 @Claire_Smith81 @Hazel_McCl @GallSus @AngelaMcLellan1 @maclean_jo Do you think if staff saw the benefits they would be willing to be involved in the analysis? Or a step too far? #ff2na
@JoyceMatthews_ @scottiegirl11 @morven87537981 @EilidhDJ @strob91 @Claire_Smith81 @Hazel_McCl @GallSus @AngelaMcLellan1 @maclean_jo I will give more opportunities to reflect and evaluate and make use of the strategies summarised in my chosen article such as the CAT technique which is short, simple and effective. I really like the idea of using Blooms to categorise learning too (e.g. βKβ for knowledge) #ff2na
@JoyceMatthews_ @scottiegirl11 @morven87537981 @EilidhDJ @strob91 @Claire_Smith81 @Hazel_McCl @GallSus @AngelaMcLellan1 @maclean_jo I try to incorporate variety into my teaching of both cyp and adults but I think I could be more ambitious when it comes to taking risks. I can stick to what is safe and shy away instead of showing more assertiveness and trying new approaches. #ff2na
