@NYC_DOT @NYCMayor A reminder that @NYC_DOT + law requires developers to create a temporary PBL on 4th Ave., which is great, but has fake excuses for why it can’t create a temporary PBL for their own projects to #fix4thave. FOUR examples is temp PBLs on 4th Ave. that are not adding congestion
Riding unprotected #crashland with my 12-year old was nerve wracking. It’s one chaotic block that should be protected like the rest of Ashland/Navy. Should have been a totally protected ride from #fix4thave to @bankersanchor. Would expand safety to so many existing/future riders.

The Fourth Ave. bike lane is perpetually blocked outside entrances to the subway, like it is here at 25th St.

.@NYC_DOT said the 4th Ave. construction would end June 2024 and the erasure of the PBL was short-term/temporary PBL not req'd. We said it was clear the work wouldn't be done by then and yup, we learned at @BkCB7 that the current work end will AUG 2025 earliest. #Fix4thave
