Update: we are finally boarded on the new plane and preparing for takeoff. An 8.5 hour delay experience & everyone is exhausted & spent. Hopefully the next time I tweet it will be from LA soil with full refunds heading our way ✌🏽 #jetblue #flight987 https://t.co/XkPq56GwfE

Original departure was 9:23p on 12/30...now new departures is 5:30a on 12/31...that’s an 8 hour delay! I think this qualifies. Oh and ps we’re trapped in the airport 👍🏽 #jetblue #flight987 #fullrefundplease https://t.co/dYqRyPwJBV

.@JetBlue #flight987 BOS🛫 —> LAX🛬 is now delayed 8HR ‼️Passengers forced to spend the night at the airport. After being taken off a boarded plane due to maintenance issues & told they were going to board another flight, just to have it pushed even later. #NOTokay #NewYearsEve
