✈️Vistara will be merging with Air India on 12th November 2024 and as a part of the merger, the Club Vistara (CV) program will merge with Air India Flying Returns. Post migration, the Club Vistara (CV) Points balance, unused vouchers, and the tier points available in your account will be transferred to Flying Returns program at a 1:1 ratio.
✈️ Compensatory CV Points: All CV Points set to expire in September and October 2024 will be reissued and transferred to the Flying Returns account on or before 12th November 2024. These points will remain valid for at least one year from the date of migration, regardless of their original expiration date, with the ability for redemption on a wider network with Air India.
✈️Complimentary Ticket Vouchers: Complimentary ticket vouchers with validity beyond 11th November 2024 will be further extended for a period of 3 months and will reflect in your Flying Returns account.
✈️Cards that are due for renewal till March 2025 will enjoy all the benefits of this card for at least a year from the date of renewal. We will continue to keep you updated of any further developments. Terms and conditions of co-brand card will remain unchanged during this entire transition period.
✈️Your card remains at your disposal and unchanged even after 12th November 2024 and you will continue earning points and milestone vouchers linked to Air India’s Flying Returns program. We urge you to continue using your AXIS BANK VISTARA Credit Card for all your spends.

Welcome to the Government of @airvistara. The email addresses on my #ClubVistara and @airindia #FlyingReturns accounts are different so cannot link them on the website. I sent Vistara an email with my Aadhaar as they requested. But noooooooo. They want a signed copy of my proof of identity like PAN or passport to “verify” my identity to process my email request to manually link the two accounts. Aadhaar will not work. @UIDAI should more this. More importantly, they don’t know what I look like, nor my signature. But they want a photo and name on a government issued document. How will it help I don’t know, though I suspect it’s to cover their bureaucratic butts. Such a pity that the intelligent people have left the Vistara building.

Since Vistara - #AirIndia merger is finally announced what happens to the #Vistara Co-Branded Credit cards?
PS: After 21 days (Given for Opt Out) we get a merger dates somewhere in Jun-July. Also the revamping of #FlyingReturns was made to be equivalent to Club Vistara.
My prediction: It will depend on the banks cc we have been using. Axis Vistara Infinite will not get the benefits in Air India for sure. Two tiers of cards as provided by Air India. Annual fees may be hiked and vouchers may be removed.
✅AI-UK merger and Axis-Citi Merger will be the two gamechangers in Credit Card and Avaition history. Both will bear some fruits in the next 6 months.
#FlyingReturns program is already inline with Club Vistara's milage requirements.
Things to lookout for are as follows for this merger.
1️⃣ Is the two programs going to be combined to Flying Returns?
2️⃣Or Club Vistara members gonna be left high and dry like finish your points before a date or use your vouchers by a date.
3️⃣ If they are fair game then will they honour 1CV=1FR Point? Generally speaking Value of CV points are higher as compared to FR points.
4️⃣ What about membership status? Recent changes suggest that Base Vistara = Red Air India
Rest silver, Gold and Platinum will be easy to maintain. Even the flight requirements have been reduced for Flying Returns.
5️⃣ Complimentary Vouchers and Upgrade vouchers will be tricky because a lot of members of club vistara will lose these if they are not redeemed.
6️⃣ Best migration I can expect is to automatically reflect the awards based on email ID's relationship. Would create less chaos and members of club vistara can be protected.

⭕Air India and Vistara are aiming to complete the merger by October 2024.
⭕Both airlines have approached the DGCA seeking clarification on crossover training requirements for pilots and crew.
⭕Currently, the operating manuals and procedures are being harmonized.
⭕Integration efforts will accelerate once the NCLT approves. The NCLT has reserved its order.
⭕Upon receiving approval from the NCLT, the integration of network, pricing, and schedules will commence.
⭕To streamline the migration process, ticket sales for dates beyond the actual merger could potentially be halted on the Vistara booking portal. These flights will then be available for sale on the Air India portal.
