Support of the Progressive Students' Organization for the #General_Strike in #Kurdistan
The Progressive Students' Organization has expressed its support for the call for a general strike in Kurdistan, urging widespread participation in this protest movement. The strike, scheduled for Wednesday, January 24, 2025, aims to oppose the death sentences of #Pakhshan_Azizi, #Varisha_Moradi, and other political prisoners.
In its statement, the organization emphasized that the general strike is an opportunity to demonstrate the unity and solidarity of the people in resisting the government's oppressive policies. Citizens have been called upon to shut down markets, workplaces, and educational centers to collectively oppose the use of executions and defend the lives of those sentenced to death.
