@himmatb15 I didn't get around to posting my (not very interesting) results, but this was my thread about starting use: https://t.co/GJUv7RvVpM #GlucoseTest #GIPtest It stuck on more securely than I expected; took effort to peel it off in the shower (maybe solvent would have helped). 1/2

@PlanetEarth_HD Oh cool. Not sure if @tamararivc will still be interested in your data for #GlucoseTest (was it?). Or @Really_Richelle for #GIPtest? I did get around to publicly posting my CGM data, as yet (didn't find anything drastic). Just my starting it thread: https://t.co/ryVYFhQs7P

I really need to get my #GIPtest going, because we really need to show people how the reactive hypoglycemia and the postprandial crappy feeling are so common in MECFS that maybe it IS part of the disease process! It's more than just insulin effects!

Do you experience periods of reactive hypoglycaemia? If so, how do you cope with the episodes? N.B. If you experience symptoms of reactive hypoglycaemia or low blood sugar, as outlined in the medical matters information (to follow) you should contact your GP to be properly assessed. #pwME #MECFS #MyalgicE #MyalgicEncephalomyelitis #LongCovid #PostCovid #BloodSugars #Hypoglycaemia #ReactiveHypoglycaemia

@angryhacademic @TheSunshineVit1 @Naomi_D_Harvey I'm FINALLY going to have the free time to do the #GIPtest, so I might have to incorporate that, somehow... It does really seem like GIP's presence does affect glucose use by body tissues.

@Really_Richelle Interesting, yes it seems promising! I think we need to work out how do we subtype patients. I am writing up a survey for #glucosetest and you could also use it for #GIPtest, if you want!? Aim of survey to distinguish subtypes. I can send survey draft to you and you can add any..

Would anyone with #LongCovid or #MECFS be interested in buying and using a Freestyle Libre 2 continuous glucose monitor? It sends constant glucose readings to an app on your phone, giving you 2 weeks of 24/7 glucose readings. I have found some interesting patterns in my..

As I am putting together my #GIPtest thing, I would love it if people could measure ketones and lactate as well. But the general post-meal crappy feeling will also be useful, and to see if the reactive hypoglycemia is consistent at the 3 hour mark.
